Getting Started with KaiBot: Supporting K–1 Classrooms Through Coding
In today’s K–1 classrooms, educators are looking for more hands-on, playful, and purposeful ways to introduce coding and computational thinking. That’s why we’re excited to invite you to our upcoming webinar, where we’ll explore how KaiBot can become a meaningful part of early learning environments.
This session, presented by Kai’s Education Co-Founder Ronel Schodt and STEM educator Rachel Lemansky, dives into practical strategies for introducing coding to young learners—no experience required. It’s designed to support any curriculum, while sparking problem-solving, sequencing, and early numeracy skills through engaging, screen-free robotics.
We’ll also highlight ideas and lesson inspiration from Rachel’s new interactive book, Coding with KaiBot: Early Learning Activities for K–1, created for educators who want to bring coding to life in the classroom.
During the webinar, participants will discover:
The Why Behind Coding in K–1: How coding builds foundational skills in maths, logic, and communication
Hands-On Ways to Use KaiBot: See how tactile coding cards and story-based play introduce core programming concepts
Curriculum Connections: Ideas for integrating coding into literacy, math, and inquiry-based learning
Classroom Examples and Lessons: Hear how real educators are using KaiBot in their early learning spaces
Certificate of Participation: All attendees will receive a certificate for joining
Attendees will also get access to downloadable resources, a recording of the session, and a preview of more early years tools from Kai’s Education. Let’s make coding accessible, age-appropriate, and exciting—for both teachers and students.
We look forward to seeing you on:
