This October, we’re excited to launch our Halloween Hunt – a fun, festive challenge hidden across our website that’s perfect for educators, parents, and learners who love a little mystery with their learning. We’ve hidden 7 Halloween-themed sprites throughout the Kai’s Education website – and it’s your job to find them!

Halloween & Education: Did You know…?

While Halloween is best known for costumes, candy, and creepy creatures, it’s also a great time to explore creativity, storytelling, and even history in the classroom. Here are a few fun, educational Halloween facts you might not know:

The word “witch” comes from the Old English wicce, meaning “wise woman.” Historically, witches were believed to be wise healers and caretakers for those in need!
Halloween has roots in the ancient Celtic festival Samhain, which marked the end of harvest season and the beginning of winter, referred to as the “darker half” of the year in folklore.
Pumpkins are not just festive – they’re also a remarkable educational tool! From carving geometry shapes to exploring plant life cycles, pumpkins can be used in all kinds of classroom activities– Not to mention, they’re edible!
Spooky stories and folktales help children develop narrative thinking, critical reading skills, and imagination – all key parts of early education.

Why We’re Doing This

At Kai’s Education, we believe learning should be fun, interactive, and filled with curiosity – and what better time of year to spark those feelings than Halloween? Our Halloween Hunt is just one way we’re celebrating creativity, play, and community this October.

The hunt will last until the 31st!

So grab your digital magnifying glass, head over to our website, and start your hunt. The sprites are hiding… can you find them all? And, as some additional little help, you’ll find your first sprite right here in this blogpost!

Happy Haunting,

From The Kai’s Education Team
