Kai’s Clan Virtual Viewer Updated with new themes and more!
With the introduction of Augmented Reality (AR) and Virtual Reality (VR) into the classroom, a new learning pathway has been unlocked. Teachers found improvements “in learning outcomes, increasing accessibility and affordability, and enabling innovation and creativity” in their students.
That is why when we first created Kai’s Clan, we saw how valuable AR/VR would be in a classroom and made sure to incorporate them into the app and lesson plans.
The result is the Kai’s Clan Virtual Viewer App (available

) adding another layer of interactive learning to Kai’s Clan’s toolbox. By entering your classroom code into the app, you can turn on AR mode and watch your Adventure Mat come to life before your eyes.
Those who have been with us for some time would have seen the gradual updates to the app, from different Quality of Life (QOL) user interfaces to expanding more virtual worlds to explore.
The most exciting update introduced to Kai’s Clan Viewer App are the new worlds for each of the different Adventure Mats.
New to each themed mats are:

Classrooms that already have Kai’s Clan and any of the Adventure Mats can now go ahead and update your app to the latest version.
Rome was not built in a day and this holds true with creating these colourful and vibrant worlds, but the final product was worth it. Our game designer has worked extremely hard tinkering and building new worlds, so we are really excited to show off his efforts we want to share the demo versions with you all.
All you need to do is simply download and print the sample mats down below. They’re double-sided, so make sure you print both sides and it must be printed in colour in order for the magic to work. Then, download the app, either for Android or iOS, scan the Demo Classroom QR Code and gain instant access to the AR world!
